Farmingville’s agricultural past has largely been replaced by commerce and industry, although the landscape is still open and full of trees and natural beauty. Farmingville’s Bald Hill is the highest point on Long Island and features a veteran’s memorial. Many Farmingville residents commute to jobs in the city.
